Many have already ridden a packed sightseeing boat and want something more personal next time. Captain Allen's tips
Clearwater Beach is one of the longer drives to our launch, so build the trip into your day. From the beach, cross Memorial Causeway and head south through Largo and Seminole, or follow Gulf Boulevard down the barrier islands. Either way, plan on about an hour to Gulfport, and more during spring break traffic on the causeway.
Because of the drive, a morning trip pairs well with an afternoon back on the sand, while a sunset trip means a later return to your hotel. The 4-hour charter is our most popular package and fits water sports and snorkeling into the same day. Current private boat tour pricing covers the whole group, plus fuel.
Summer storms build in the afternoon, so plan sunset runs with an eye on the radar. Guests staying near Sand Key can map the drive ahead of time with our Gulfport launch directions, and parking at the ramp is free. Arrive 15 minutes early to use the dock restrooms, because there is none aboard.
